What we collect

We collect information you provide (name, email, company), information from your use of the app (GPS sessions, contact records, job data), and technical information (device type, IP address) to operate the service.

How we use it

We use your data to provide and improve UpRoof, send transactional emails (account, billing), and send optional marketing communications you can opt out of at any time.

Location data

GPS and location data is used solely to power the canvassing map feature. It is stored securely and never shared with third parties for advertising or analytics purposes.

Third parties

We use the following third-party services: Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payment processing), Resend (email delivery), Expo (mobile push notifications), RevenueCat (mobile billing), Anthropic (AI job report generation). Each operates under their own privacy policy.

When you manually generate a Job Report, your job notes and an anonymized activity timeline (dates and event types only — no customer names, addresses, or dollar amounts) are sent to Anthropic's API to generate the narrative sections of the report. You are shown exactly what will be sent and asked to confirm before any data leaves UpRoof's servers. All structured data in the report (customer info, financials, insurance details) is assembled server-side and never sent to Anthropic.

Data retention and deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your Profile. Deleted data is permanently removed within 30 days.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data. California residents have additional rights under CCPA. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@uproof.app.
